Belonging

Come close without surrendering yourself

The Weave asks for practice and responsibility, not compulsory certainty. Participation can deepen without becoming captivity.

Four ways of standing near the Work

Guest

Encounter

Read, attend an open gathering, or practice the Fourfold Turning. No label is expected.

Seeker

Practice

Undertake the twenty-eight-day beginning, join inquiry, and test the path in ordinary life.

Weaver

Commitment

Make a voluntary commitment to the Four Laws, continuing practice, service, correction, and repair.

Guardian

Stewardship

Accept accountable responsibility for teaching, safeguarding, governance, or care. Authority remains limited and reviewable.

The Weaver’s Commitment

I enter the Work without claiming certainty I do not possess. I will seek Light without pretending to own it. I will practice Grace, Faith, Truth, and Peace; hold Acceptance with Betterment and Compassion with Discipline; cultivate Gratitude, Intention, Forgiving, and Tolerance; recognize Greed, Angst, Pride, and Sloth without reducing myself or another person to them; and remember the path in four laws: Love More. Fear Less. Live Free. Harm None. When I fail, I will tell the truth, repair what I reasonably can, and return.

No vow cancels consent, conscience, civil responsibility, professional care, or the right to leave. A person may participate indefinitely without taking this commitment.
