Daily
Turn toward Light. Practice the Fourfold Turning. Perform one act of care appropriate to your capacity. Tell one necessary truth. At day’s end, review without flattery or contempt: Where did I receive, move, see, and integrate? Where did I enter a Gap? What requires repair or return?
Weekly
Set aside a period for extended contemplation, study, or time in the more-than-human world. Share a meal without turning fellowship into instruction. When a Loom is available, gather for Lighting, Reading, Question, Weaving, Work, Table, and Returning. Keep one period of genuine rest in which worth is not measured by production.
Monthly
Undertake one concrete act of service and one honest review of money, consumption, relationship, and responsibility. Seek a conversation capable of correcting you. Complete one repair that has been delayed, or document why contact would be unsafe or inappropriate.
Seasonally
Observe the equinoxes and solstices through the Sacred Year. Spring welcomes through Grace; summer moves through Faith; autumn accounts through Truth; winter remembers and integrates through Peace. Adapt natural imagery to local climate without losing the sequence.
According to capacity
Illness, disability, poverty, crisis, caregiving, and institutional confinement change what can reasonably be carried. The minimum form may be one conscious breath and one honest question. Rest is part of Discipline. When the Rule becomes a machinery of shame, simplify it until it serves life again.
