Light is not a substance hidden behind the world, a secret power controlled by initiates, or evidence that one person has been chosen above another. It is the sacred name the Weave gives to reality becoming intelligible and the Good becoming possible.
In Grace, Light makes reception possible. In Faith, it appears as a horizon toward which one can move without possessing it. In Truth, it reveals distortion and consequence. In Peace, it becomes warmth given durable form through conduct, relationship, and care.
Many interpretations, one orientation
A theist may encounter Light as divine presence. A pantheist may recognize the radiance of reality itself. A religious naturalist may understand it through consciousness, life, and the intelligibility of nature. An agnostic may receive it as reverent language for awareness, truth, love, and the unresolved depth of existence. The Weave does not require these interpretations to become identical.
What matters is the direction of the symbol. Light should make us more capable of seeing, more willing to be corrected, and less eager to convert mystery into possession. Any supposed Light that licenses domination, deception, or exemption from accountability has become its opposite.
Seek Light. Do not claim to own it. Let what you see become how you live.
