The Four Laws Compass · two minutes

Before you send the angry message

A feeling can be real without becoming an instruction.

Try this now

  1. Put the unsent message aside for two minutes. If there is immediate danger, move toward safety and appropriate help first.
  2. Name one observable fact and one interpretation. “They did not reply” is a fact; “they do not care” is an interpretation.
  3. Choose a boundary, a clear request, or a pause. Write one sentence you could stand behind tomorrow.

A question to carry: What would protect both your dignity and the other person’s humanity?

How the Four Laws work together

Harm None asks for a less destructive next step. Love More keeps the person visible; Fear Less makes an honest request possible; Live Free keeps the choice yours.
